  1. Rinse the lentils under cold water.

  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
