Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.

Add kale and cook until wilted.

Stir in white beans, vegetable broth, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
