Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeno pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened.

Add cumin, chili powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Add white beans and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
