Indonesian’s Snack
Indonesian’s Snack, also known as ‘Gado-gado’, is a popular Indonesian street food dish that is packed with fresh vegetables and protein-rich tofu and tempeh. It is often served with a flavorful peanut sauce.

Cut the tofu, tempeh, eggplant, cabbage, carrots, and spring onions into small pieces.

Finely chop the garlic, shallots, and red chili peppers.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu and tempeh until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté garlic, shallots, and red chili peppers until fragrant.

Add the eggplant, cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts. Stir-fry for a few minutes.

Add the fried tofu and tempeh back to the pan.

Season with soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and salt. Stir well.

Squeeze lime juice over the dish.

Serve hot and enjoy!
