Soak the navy beans in water overnight.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).

Drain and rinse the soaked beans.

In a large pot, combine the beans, onion, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, and water.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with bacon slices.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the beans are tender and the bacon is crispy.
