  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 180°F (82°C), stirring occasionally.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the milk cool to 110°F (43°C).
  3. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt starter culture with a small amount of the cooled milk until well combined.
  4. Pour the yogurt starter mixture into the saucepan with the remaining cooled milk and stir gently.
  5. Cover the saucepan with a lid and wrap it with a towel to keep it warm.
  6. Let the mixture sit undisturbed at room temperature for 8-12 hours or overnight.
  7. After the resting time, the milk should have thickened and transformed into yogurt.
  8. Refrigerate the yogurt for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Serve the homemade yogurt chilled and enjoy!
