In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and dried herbs.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.

Stir until a dough forms, then transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and grease a pizza pan or baking sheet.

Punch down the dough and transfer it to the prepared pan. Use your hands to press and stretch the dough to fit the pan.
