  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, coconut oil, almond milk, flaxseed meal, water, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the walnuts.
