  6. Take a handful of the potato mixture and shape it into a patty. Place it in the frying pan.
  7. Cook the hash brown until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  8. Remove the hash brown from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
  9. Repeat with the remaining potato mixture.
