This ground meat substitute made from walnuts and mushrooms is not only delicious but also packed with healthy fats and plant-based protein.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a food processor, pulse the walnuts until finely chopped.

Add the mushrooms, onion, and garlic to the food processor and pulse until finely chopped.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushroom mixture and sauté for 5 minutes.

Stir in soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.

Remove the skillet from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Stir in bread crumbs until well combined.

Shape the mixture into patties and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
