Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Cut the Belgian endives in half lengthwise.

Brush the cut sides of the endives with olive oil.

Place the endives on the grill, cut side down.

Grill for 4-5 minutes, until charred and tender.

Flip the endives and grill for another 4-5 minutes.

Remove the endives from the grill and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Serve hot as an appetizer or side dish.
