  1. In a blender, combine green peas, scallions, garlic cloves, curry powder, ground cumin, ground turmeric, salt, and water. Blend until smooth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the green pea mixture with all-purpose flour and baking powder. Stir until well combined.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan.
  4. Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the poulourie from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
