Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them in half.

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic to the pan and sauté until translucent.

Add the tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the green beans and water to the pan. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the green beans are tender.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
