Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic cloves. Cook until onion becomes translucent.

Add green tomatoes, red tomatoes, and corn kernels. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.

Pour vegetable broth into the pot. Season with salt and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Remove the pot from heat and let it cool slightly. Use an immersion blender or regular blender to puree the soup until smooth.

Return the soup to the pot and reheat over low heat. Stir in fresh basil leaves and lime juice.
