  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Peel back the husks of the corn without removing them completely. Remove the silk strands from the corn and then fold the husks back into place.
  3. Soak the corn in a large bowl of water for 10 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Remove the corn from the water and shake off the excess. Brush the garlic-basil mixture evenly over the corn.
  6. Place the corn on the grill, close the lid, and cook for 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  7. Remove the corn from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the garlic-basil corn hot and enjoy!
