Soak the hijiki seaweed in water for 10 minutes and drain.

Cook the brown rice according to the package instructions.

Heat the sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.

Add the sliced burdock root, hijiki seaweed, carrot, onion, and garlic to the wok and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
