Coleslaw originated from the Dutch word ‘koolsla’ which means ‘cabbage salad’.

Shred the cabbage and carrots into thin strips.

Cut the apple and pineapple into small pieces.

In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, apple, pineapple, and raisins.

In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well coated.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
