  1. Slice the eggplant into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  2. Sprinkle salt on both sides of the eggplant slices and let them sit for 10 minutes to draw out the moisture.
  3. Rinse the eggplant slices and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the eggplant slices until they are golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the eggplant slices from the skillet and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Toast the slider buns.
  9. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
  10. Place a fried eggplant slice on top of the mayonnaise.
  11. Top with lettuce and tomato slices.
  12. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  13. Serve the fried eggplant sliders immediately.
