Trim the ends of the green beans and wash them.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.

Add the green beans to the boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

Drain the green beans and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the cooked green beans to the skillet and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until they are heated through.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
