This is vegan, gluten free and high protein recipe. Dish can be prepared in 60 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 15.

  1. In a food processor, blend chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, baking powder, and flour until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the falafel patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Warm pita bread in a toaster or oven.
  7. Cut pita bread in half and open the pocket.
  8. Spread tahini sauce inside the pocket.
  9. Stuff with falafel patties, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
