  2. Cut the tempeh into slices or cubes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and olive oil.
  4. Add the tempeh to the bowl and toss to coat it evenly with the marinade.
  5. Let the tempeh marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  6. Place the marinated tempeh on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tempeh is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
