  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, brown sugar, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  5. Fold in the dried mixed fruit, chopped nuts, raisins, orange juice, and orange zest.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased and lined loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
