In a large bowl, mix chickpea flour, finely chopped onion, minced garlic cloves, curry powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and water.

Stir well until a thick batter is formed.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and flatten them slightly with the back of the spoon.

Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.

Remove the fritters from the pan and drain on a paper towel.

Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh cilantro on top.
