Press the tofu to remove excess water.

Cut the tofu into cubes.

In a shallow bowl, mix cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Toss the tofu cubes in the mixture until evenly coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the tofu cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy and blackened.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Serve the crispy blackened tofu with lime wedges and fresh cilantro.
