Stir in ground cumin, ground coriander, and turmeric powder. Cook for another minute.

Add canned tomatoes and vegetable stock. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth.

Stir in the coconut milk, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
