  2. In a large bowl, mix the okara, mashed bananas, vegetable oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
