Peel and slice the sweet potatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds.

In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add the brown sugar mixture to the melted butter and stir until well combined.

Place the sweet potato slices in a baking dish and pour the butter and sugar mixture over the top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and sprinkle the pecans over the top.
