Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.

Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Spread the Brussels sprouts evenly on a baking sheet.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly browned.

In the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle sesame seeds over the Brussels sprouts and return to the oven.
