Broiled Tofu
Tofu, also known as bean curd, is made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks.
This is vegan, gluten free, high protein and low carb recipe. Dish can be prepared in 30 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the broiler.

Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ground ginger, salt, and black pepper.

Cut the tofu into slices or cubes and place them in a shallow dish.

Pour the marinade over the tofu and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Place the tofu on a broiler pan and broil for 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Remove from the broiler and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Serve the broiled tofu with chopped green onions on top.
