  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add vegetable oil and water, then mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  7. Place the loaf on a greased baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
