In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.

Add vegetable oil and water, then mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.

Place the loaf on a greased baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake for 40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
