  2. Cut the squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the squash with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly over the cut sides.
  5. Place the squash halves, cut side down, on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the squash is tender when pierced with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Using a fork, scrape the flesh of the squash to create spaghetti-like strands.
  9. Transfer the strands to a serving dish.
  10. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves, and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
