  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the banana batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove the fritters from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
