Trim the ends of the asparagus and wash them.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.

Add the asparagus to the boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
