Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes.

Soak the poppy seeds in water for 10 minutes and then grind them into a paste.

Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the green chilies.

Add the potatoes and saute for 5 minutes.

Add turmeric powder, salt, and the poppy seed paste.

Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.

Add water and cover the pan. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
