Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet.

Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes and sprinkle with garlic, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft and slightly caramelized.

Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
