Simple Tomato Garlic Bruschetta
Bruschetta originated in central Italy and was traditionally served as a way to use up stale bread.
This is vegan and quick meals recipe. Dish can be prepared in 25 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 7.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.

Toast the slices in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

While the bread is toasting, dice the tomatoes and finely chop the garlic.

In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Rub the garlic cloves on one side of each bread slice.

Spoon the tomato mixture onto the garlic-rubbed side of the bread slices.

Let the bruschetta rest for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
