Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

Add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.

Add green beans and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are crisp-tender.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and sugar.

Pour the sauce over the green beans and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve hot.
