Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until golden brown.

Add paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper, cook for 1 minute.

Add garbanzo beans and tomatoes, stir well.

Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
