Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.

Add the butternut squash, corn, black beans, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the butternut squash is tender.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Garnish with cilantro before serving.
