Rinse the wild rice under cold water.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the rinsed wild rice. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the rice is tender.

In a separate bowl, combine dried cranberries, pecans, green onions, and fresh parsley.

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Once the wild rice is cooked, drain any excess water and transfer it to the bowl with the cranberry mixture.

Pour the dressing over the rice mixture and toss to combine.
