Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.

Fold in the dates and walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
