Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeno pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are softened.

Add the kidney beans, black beans, tomato sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and water. Stir well.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
