Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Saute until golden brown.

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add chopped cabbage and cook for 5 minutes.

Add water, cover the pan, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the cabbage is cooked.

Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
