  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the vegan butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the molasses, vanilla extract, and plant-based milk, and mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in turbinado sugar to coat. Place the coated balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are cracked. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
