  • 4 tomato Green Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Non-Dairy Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the green tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix together the cornmeal, flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. In another shallow dish, whisk together the non-dairy milk and hot sauce.
  5. Dip each tomato slice into the milk mixture, then coat it with the cornmeal mixture.
  6. Place the coated tomato slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Drizzle the vegetable oil over the tomato slices.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the tomatoes are tender and golden brown.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
