  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
  3. Place lettuce leaves on two slices.

  5. Add red onion slices on top of the tomatoes.
  6. Sprinkle salt and black pepper.
  7. Spread mustard on the other two slices of bread.
  8. Place the mustard side down on top of the sandwich fillings.
  9. Cut the sandwich diagonally into halves.
