Drain and press the tofu to remove excess water. Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.

In a bowl, combine cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Toss the tofu pieces in the cornstarch mixture until fully coated.

Place the coated tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

In a separate bowl, whisk together hot sauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, and vegetable oil.

Remove the tofu from the oven and toss it in the hot sauce mixture.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and fry the tofu for 2-3 minutes on each side, until crispy.
