  4. In a baking dish, combine the baked beans, sautéed onion and garlic, tomato paste, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, pepper, crumbled bacon, and water.
  5. Mix well and cover with foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to allow the top to brown.
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
