  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pears and walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
