Ingredients
  • 1 cup Okara
  • 1 block Tofu
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the okara, tofu, breadcrumbs, flour, egg, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into small nugget shapes and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the nuggets until golden brown on all sides.
  4. Alternatively, you can also bake the nuggets in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Serve the springy okara & tofu nuggets hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
